That’s All Folks!

Sad news, Feza Fans! As of today, I will no longer be the Head of Design and Communication for the company. I’d like to take a moment to thank everyone for your support, feedback, and encouragement over the last four years. It’s been fantastic getting to know you all.

I hope that many of you will still keep in touch! I can be found online at www.zombie-hunter.com and at http://ktbaldassaro.wordpress.com/. Patterns will be available for sale directly using both sites, and I can be found on Ravelry.com under ZombieHunter.

I’m launching a new website/blog called, “Seriously, Do It Yourself.” It’s half education/half entertainment site dedicated to teaching knitters and crocheters the concepts behind pattern problem solving. If you give a knitter the direct answer, sure they’ll finish the garment, but if you teach them why/how you got that answer, they’ll never go hungry… or something like that. ;)                                                                                                               Please follow me there, where you can email me (seriouslydoityourself@gmail.com) problems your having with *ANY* company/manufacturer’s pattern, to possibly be featured as our “problem of the week.” Where you’ll be given a detailed answer along with how we came to it!

As a token of thanks for all your support, here’s a little slide show of my designs for you! Thanks for all the inspiration!

Happy Knitting,

Kt Baldassaro

P.S. For those of you in the Western MA area: come to the Academy of Music this April 6th to catch the WORLD PREMIERE of “Killing Brooke”, an independent horror movie starring yours truly. ;) Tickets on sale now!

TNNA 2012!

We just returned from TNNA’s Winter Show 2012 in Phoenix, AZ, (which is a fantastic place to have a winter show, by the way :) ),where we had a great show and a wonderful time! Highlights from our trip included showcasing our newest designs for your favourite yarns, as well as the introduction of our two newest yarns- Piquant and Diamond.

Piquant is 100% wool yarn with an hombre colour change. You’ve all heard me talk quite a bit about this yarn in previous entries, including the free week of patterns- Piquant His Scarf & Piquant Her’s Scarf. Piquant was made to be the 100% natural fibre sister to our other popular yarn, Fanatic, which also features the same hombre colour change, but in a 70% acrylic/ 20% wool yarn (for those of you out there with wool intolerance!) Piquant gets 210 yds to the 100 g skein and 4.5 sts per inch on a US#10.5 needle.

Diamond is a polyester and metallic thread blended lattice yarn. There are 132 YDS per 50 g ball, and it get’s approx. 4.75 sts to the inch on a US #8 needle. (88% POLYESTER & 12% METALLIC YARN) Click the link above to see more colours!

We also introduced new colors for Alp Natural, Alp Light and Alp Dazzle. (Expect to see the new colour line on our website, asap!)

We just wanted to make sure to take the time out and thank everyone who visited our booth- Thank you, we hope to see you all this coming June in Ohio!
